Stintly ("the App") is built with privacy as a core principle. The App is designed to work entirely offline, and your business data stays on your device. This policy explains what data we collect (very little) and how we handle it.
All your business data — clients, invoices, expenses, time entries, jobs, and reports — is stored locally on your device using an on-device database. This data is not transmitted to our servers or any third-party service.
Stintly includes AI-powered features such as receipt scanning, smart search, and business insights. These features run entirely on your device using on-device machine learning models. No data is sent to external AI services for processing.
The App offers an optional iCloud backup feature. If you choose to enable this, your data is backed up to your personal iCloud account, which is managed by Apple under their privacy policy. We do not have access to your iCloud backups.
Stintly offers in-app subscriptions managed through Apple's App Store. Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We do not collect or store your payment information. Apple may share a transaction receipt with us to verify your subscription status.
The App offers an optional biometric lock (Face ID / Touch ID) to protect access. Biometric data is handled by your device's secure enclave and is never accessible to the App.
The App does not integrate with third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services. The only external service interaction is with Apple for subscription management.
Stintly is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control. You can delete all data at any time through the App's Settings, or by deleting the App from your device.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
